“Baby” captures a moment of intimacy between lovers as they fall in love within the heart of Montreal.

In my four years living in Montreal, I fell in love with the city and its creativity. The city, full of opportunity and motivated learners, encourages you to flourish and hone in on your passions. In my time at McGill, from heartbreaks and harsh winters to its kindness and creativity, as cliché as it may be, I did not only explore the city, but I also got to discover a new understanding of myself.

Through “Baby,” I wanted to personify this adoration, capturing both the timidity and tenderness that compose the initial stages of falling in love. Combining the summer landscape of murals with the cozy winter nights, “Baby” captures a moment of intimacy between new lovers. In other words, this film is my ode to Montreal.
